#youneverknow

Has anyone ever heard of the city Ausfahrt? I didn’t up until we arrived in Germany. We were driving along and every sign pointed to Ausfahrt. Man, that must be one big city I told my dad. Half an hour later we were still seeing signs to Ausfahrt. So we searched up Ausfahrt on google and then we found out Ausfahrt isn’t a city, it was a sign that meant exit in German.

That’s what’s fun about traveling you never know what to expect.

  1. Would you believe it, when Pop and I first went to live in Holland in 1969, we told people we lived at Dorgaan Verkeer, which is what the sign said on the corner near our apartment. We found out it means Through Traffic!
