Boom! Thunder echos around Man O’ War Bay lightning flashes infront of our eyes. we pull up the anchor and head out of the bay,the wind picks up and thrashes at our legs like a whip
The rain buckets down. A sheet of white sudenly drops down in front of us we cant see more then 50 meters ahead of us. The hail like bullets being shot down at us from the heavens. The 40 knot winds catch our sail causing us to exceed 9 knots. We see the coastguard ahead of us towing a boat behind them, I take the tiller while dad hauls down the jib we sail onwards as the storm rages on arond us.
I wonder if we will experience anything like the storm that we encountered yesterday on our travels. Storms can be unpredictable and I expect some of our travel to be the same. That makes it kind of exciting.
